Once again an accident happened while bathing in Saryu. A boy and a youth drowned in two separate incidents. The water police is searching for them.
On Saturday morning at around 5 am, Ayush Yadav (11), a resident of Sugamau in the Indira Nagar police station area of Lucknow, drowned when he went into deep water while bathing at Nayaghat near the Old Bridge.
In the same sequence, Harshit Pal (19), a resident of Patuna in Mahrua police station area of Ambedkar Nagar, drowned while bathing near the pump canal Laxman Ghat at six in the morning due to going into deep water. The water police is searching for these two with the help of divers.
