A SP leader and his servant who raped a 12-year-old girl in a village in the Purakalandar police station area of Ayodhya have been arrested. The girl had become two months pregnant.
A few months ago, SP leader and bakery owner Moeed Khan, a resident of Bhadarsa in the district, called a 12-year-old girl to work at his bakery through his servant Raju and raped her. Servant Raju made a video of this and blackmailed the girl and raped her too. The case came to light when the teenager was found to be two months pregnant after a doctor’s examination.
The girl’s mother had told in her complaint that two months ago her daughter was working in the field. Raju, who works in a nearby bakery, took her to the bakery. There the bakery owner Moeed Khan raped her. Raju also made a video of it. After this, Raju also raped her by blackmailing her. When the girl told her ordeal at home, the family members talked to her several times. Meanwhile, the girl became two months pregnant. They reached the police station with the girl and registered a case against the accused.
People of Nishad community expressed their anger
When the news spread, anger spread among the people of Nishad community. On Tuesday, Nishad community leader Motiram Nishad, Laxman Nishad, District Panchayat member Harishchandra Nishad, Manjeet Nishad, Sanjay Nishad along with a large number of other people reached Bharatkund and started protesting on the highway. They started raising slogans demanding the arrest of the accused. On this, CO Ayodhya Ashutosh Tiwari also reached the spot with the police force and pacified them by assuring action. SP City Madhuban Singh said that both the accused have been taken into custody and are being questioned.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also mentioned this incident in his address in the assembly on Thursday. He told the Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey sitting in front that such people are in your party. These people will not be spared.
