No decision has been taken yet regarding the further treatment of the rape victim admitted in the women’s hospital of Ayodhya regarding delivery. Considering the risky treatment, it is considered better to get the girl treated at KGMU Lucknow. Regarding this, the CMO also held talks in the women’s hospital on Sunday. However, a decision will be taken on this only after the written consent of the child welfare committee and the family members.

A 12-year-old rape victim is carrying a 12-week-old foetus in her womb. According to experts, the girl will have to go through more difficulties in carrying the child for nine months and then giving birth. Her life may also be at risk. Since the girl’s body is not capable of this and the foetus is 12 weeks old, there is a strong possibility of abortion. But for this, written consent of the child welfare committee and the family is necessary.

During the CMO meeting on Sunday, Child Welfare Committee’s assistant Kavita Mishra was also present. She said that there was a discussion on getting the girl treated from Lucknow. A decision will be taken on this on Monday. During this, DM-SSP were also present. Superintendent Dr. Asharam said that talks have also been held with KGMU. CWC has agreed verbally, but due to it being Sunday, instructions have not been received in writing. A decision is expected on Monday itself.

On the other hand, the BJP investigation team spoke to the victim’s mother. She said that even now the supporters of the accused SP leader Moeed Khan are threatening us. They are pressurizing us for a compromise. We are very scared. On this, the State Minister for Backward Classes Welfare and the State President of the BJP Backward Classes Front, Narendra Kashyap said that strict action will be taken against those who threaten. The Yogi government will not spare those who do this.

Rajya Sabha MP Baburam Nishad assured the family that they should remain calm. Take my number. If anyone threatens you, inform me directly. The team members reached the District Women’s Hospital and enquired about the condition of the victim. They consoled her. After this, they held a meeting with the administration and police officers in the Circuit House and got information about the action taken so far.
