Ayodhya. In Nagar Panchayat Bhadarsa Bharatkund, the limits of injustice have been crossed. So far, cases of illegal encroachment on pond, chak road, graveyard and crematorium and other government lands are coming to light. New revelations have shown that even the land of the primary school was not spared here. For this, out of the 13 biswa land proposed, only four biswa land has the school campus, the rest is illegally occupied. JAB Inter College built in the neighborhood has also come under the scope of investigation. Shops are being run by occupying the proposed playground of the primary school as well.

After the incident of gang rape of a teenager of Bhadarsa area by Samajwadi Party’s city president Moeed Khan and his servant, investigation is going on regarding the illegal properties of the accused. In this connection, investigation is also being done against Nagar Panchayat President Rashid Khan, who is accused of threatening the rape victim and her family. The team formed under the leadership of ADM FR Mahendra Singh has investigated the complaints related to the chairman. In this connection, the records of the Nagar Panchayat office were also investigated.

When the same team reached the primary school of Bhadarsa and got the land measured, the officers were left speechless. It was found that the then Nagar Panchayat president had misused his powers and influence to do arbitrary things. Not only has the school land been illegally occupied and constructions have been made, but the road leading to Phulwaria village has also been closed. The shops being run illegally here are also under the patronage of the Nagar Panchayat.

Children forced to remain confined in school, have to be locked from inside

The helplessness of the children of Bhadarsa Primary School can be gauged from the fact that the main gate has to be kept locked from inside. In this regard, the acting head teacher Shabina Qayum said that there is a crowd of people at the shops in front of the school, so this has to be done. She said that earlier a house was built by occupying a part of the school premises. It was demolished with the efforts of the then SDM Jyoti Singh. Now an MDM shed has been built here along with the wall. Children have their lunch in it.

Investigation has been done on illegal encroachment on the land of primary school. Measurement has also been done here by a three-member team. Records are being investigated. On this basis, an investigation report will be prepared and submitted to higher officials. Further action will be taken against illegal encroachments based on their instructions.
