Ayodhya. The district is going to get the gift of another railway overbridge in September. The construction work of the railway overbridge i.e. ROB on Sampar number-105 near Surya Kund will be completed by 31 August. So far 95 percent of the work has been completed. With the construction of this railway overbridge, thousands of people will get relief from the problem of traffic jam. Travel to Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ambedkar Nagar will become easier through Ayodhya.
The construction of this overbridge started in November 2021 at a cost of Rs 115 crore. According to the information received from the working agency Setu Nigam, funding for the construction of the overbridge was jointly provided by the Public Works Department and the Indian Railways. The total length of the overbridge is 675 meters. The most special thing about this two-lane overbridge is that both its descent and ascent have been made accident-free in a state-of-the-art manner. The length of the railway part in the construction work of this overbridge is 173 meters. The width of the carriageway of the bridge is 7.50 meters. Apart from this, a service road of 3.75 meters width is also being constructed on both sides of the bridge.
