Construction work ongoing in Ram Mandir complex.
Ayodhya. 80 percent of the work of Ram Mandir construction has been completed. The ground and first floor work of the 161 feet high three-storey Ram Mandir has been completed. While 70 percent of the work of the second floor has been completed. One thousand crores have been spent on the construction of Ram Mandir so far. While it has been reported that 1800 crores have been spent on other projects including the temple so far. It is estimated that more than 2500 crores will be spent on the construction of all the projects including the temple.
The finishing work of the first floor of Ram Mandir is almost in its final stage. While a staircase has also been made near the VIP road on the ground floor to go to the first floor. Ram Darbar is to be established on the first floor itself. While the pillars of the second floor are being erected. So far, pillars have been added up to a height of 15 feet in the 19.5 feet high second floor. Apart from the temple, the construction of a wall is going on in the temple premises. Six temples will also be built in the wall. Temples of Goddess Bhagwati, Lord Surya, Ganesh, Hanuman, Maa Annapurna will be built in it. Sheshavatar temple is also being constructed afresh in the premises.
Apart from this, Sapta Mandapam is being established in the campus itself. Temples of seven characters of Ramayana period including sages will be built in it. Temples of Maharishi Valmiki, Agastya, Vashishtha, Tulsi Das, Shabari, Nishadraj and Ahalya will be constructed here. Apart from this, construction work of retaining wall, STP, power plant, construction of roads, museum, guest house is also going on in the campus.
850 crores are estimated to be spent in the current financial year
According to the information received from the Trust, from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, it is estimated that another 670 crores will be spent on the construction of Ram Mandir alone. While 180 crores will be spent on the construction of other projects. That is, in this financial year, 850 crores will be spent on the construction work going on in the complex. According to sources, more than 2500 crores are likely to be spent on all the construction works including the temple. The deadline for completion of all the works has been fixed as June 2025.
