Physical Harassment Victim’s Statement Recorded In Court – Ayodhya News

Ayodhya. In the case of rape of a Dalit girl in the police station Khandasa area, the victim appeared before the magistrate and recorded her statement on Saturday.

Earlier, the investigating officer of the case/ Area Officer Milkipur had presented an application before Special Judge POCSO Act I Nirupama Vikram for recording the statement of the victim before the magistrate. The judge ordered to record the statement of the victim on the application of the investigating officer. The problems of the accused may increase due to the statement of the victim before the magistrate.

Special Public Prosecutor Vinod Kumar Upadhyay from the prosecution side said that Sahaban and Manu have been made accused in the incident. One of the accused Sahaban is lodged in the district jail. The other accused is absconding. The court has fixed September 19 as the date for Sahaban’s remand.
