The fear of wolves still persists in Haringtonganj area of Milkipur in Ayodhya district. The wolf is constantly changing its location, due to which there is an atmosphere of fear in dozens of villages in the area.
On Tuesday, people saw the wolf in Sindhaura village located on the banks of Bisuhi river at the southern end of Haringtonganj. However, the villagers were already awake in panic due to which they raised an appeal and were chased away.
Dozens of people have been injured in Adilpur, Uruva Vaishya, Sonbarsa, Maholiya, Khadbhadepur, Jamoliya, Niyamatpur due to the wolf’s movement within a distance of 20 kilometers. Now when the wolf changed its location, panic has spread among the people of many villages including Ganeshpur, Paraspur Sathra, Palia Lohani, Sindhaura, Baswar Kala, Harirampur, Ghurehta, Sohwal Saloni, Chaudharypur, Sarai Majra. On Tuesday, the Forest Department team patrolled several villages and searched for the footprints and location of the wolf.
