Baba Bazaar. A meeting was held on Saturday at Maa Kamakhya Dham in the presence of MLA Ramchandra Yadav and SDM Praveen Yadav regarding the preparations for Prakash Parv Diwali. In the meeting, there was discussion on making the Deepotsav to be held at Maa Kamakhya Dham on 29th October divine and grand. The MLA said that this time Maa Kamakhya Dham will be illuminated with 1.51 lakh lamps. To make the Deepotsav grand, women from the group, Anganwadi workers, volunteers from electricity, revenue, health, police and education and other departments were deployed. Nagar Panchayat President Sheetala Prasad Shukla, Executive Officer Nikhilesh Mishra, Sugarcane Committee Chairman Nirmal Sharma and Tej Tiwari were present in the meeting.
