Ayodhya. Shri Ram’s city Ayodhya is also creating a record of records. In the last 15 days, five records have been made from Deepotsav to Parikrama. Now Ayodhya can make the record sixer by making the sixth record on the Kartik Purnima fair. There is an atmosphere of joy in the entire Ayodhya city regarding this.
After the decision in favor of Ram temple, as soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of the temple, it seemed as if the news of Ayodhya started ringing in the country and abroad. Deepotsav had started as soon as the Yogi government came to power in the state, but after the construction of the temple started, it started being celebrated in a more grand manner.
Here on the Saryu coast, three records were made within five days. The Chief Minister himself was a witness to two record Saryu Aarti and Deepotsav. Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that everything is fine from Deepotsav to Parikrama. This time there was much more crowd in the parikrama than last time. There is a bath of Kartik Purnima in the coming days.
First record – 28 lakh lamps decorated in 72 hours
– CM had announced to create a record by lighting 25 lakh lamps at Ram Ki Pauri in Ayodhya. In view of this, like every time, this time also Avadh University had appointed volunteers. Apart from schools and colleges, people associated with voluntary organizations were also included in the 35 thousand volunteers. The process of laying lamps at 55 ghats started from 27th October. Within just 72 hours, the volunteers decorated the lamps and set a new record for Ayodhya.
Second record- Saryu Aarti of 1100 batukas simultaneously
On the evening of 30 October, a new record was made on the banks of Saryu river. That was of Saryu Maa’s Aarti. For this, the Tourism Department had included the names of prominent sages and saints of Ayodhya and 1100 Batukas in the list to perform Aarti. Aarti’s trial was also conducted for three days. On the day of Deepotsav, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Saryu Aarti site from Ramkatha Park. Here not only did they perform Aarti but 1100 Batukas wore clothes of the same color and worshiped Maa Saryu. Another new record was created during the 15-minute long aarti.
Third record- More than 25 lakh lamps lit at 55 ghats including Ram Ki Paidi
After three days of rigorous testing of the volunteers, when the time came to make the main record, they did not lag behind in that too. From the morning of 30th October, the work of adding oil and wick to the lamps started. When the work of lighting the lamps started after 6 o’clock in the evening. All the lamps were lit within about a quarter of an hour. After counting by the Guinness World Records team, Ayodhya got the certificate for setting another new record by lighting 25 lakh 12 thousand 585 lamps.
Fourth record- 35 lakh devotees performed 14 Kosi Parikrama
After being seated in the grand and divine temple of Ramlala, now it was the devotees’ turn to make a record, so they did it. A large number of devotees reached Ayodhya even before the Kartik Parikrama Fair. The time to start the parikrama was at 6:30 pm on November 9, but even before that, the faith among the devotees increased so much that they started the parikrama even before the auspicious time. During the 24-hour Parikrama, such a crowd reached at night that even the district administration was stunned. On the second day the parikrama ended at 4:44 pm. It is estimated that 35 lakh devotees will circumambulate, which is much more than in the last several years.
Fifth record- Estimate of Panchkosi Parikrama of 25 lakh devotees
After 14 Kosi Parikrama, now it was the turn of the people of the district. It is believed that more devotees from outside stay in 14 Kosi. Panchkosi consists mostly of urban people. On November 11, at the auspicious time around 2:45 pm, the devotees took up parikrama. There was a fair like atmosphere on the route throughout the night. Roadside traders also had silver. The parikrama ended after 11 am on the second day. According to an estimate, 20 to 25 lakh devotees have acquired virtue by doing parikrama.
