A road accident occurred on Prayagraj Highway in Ayodhya, UP on Sunday midnight. Two people died in the accident. Whereas, four people were seriously injured. The victims of the accident are residents of Gonda, Balrampur and Bahraich districts. The accident happened near Chandpur of Bikapur Kotwali area.

It was told that Arvind Gupta alias Rajendra (45), resident of Gonda bus stand, had gone to Varanasi with his family and relatives. Were returning home from there on Sunday night. His car got hit by a truck near Chandpur village at around 2 o’clock in the night. There was hue and cry on the spot after the incident.

Police reached the spot on information. After about half an hour of hard work, the police took everyone out of the car. Sent him to the community health center. Here doctor Dr. Dharmendra Ranjan declared Arvind Gupt and Rakesh Gupt (42), resident of Rojarpur, Balrampur, dead. While the injured were referred to the district hospital.

These people got injured

The injured include Ashish Gupta (32), resident of Nanpara, Bahraich, Ranjana Gupta (35), Surbhi (five) and Shruti (six), resident of Gonda Bus Stand. After the arrival of the family members, the police sent the bodies for post-mortem on Monday morning. The car has been badly damaged in the accident. Inspector in-charge Lalchand Saroj said that the truck has been taken into custody. Legal action is being taken.
