Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is continuously developing facilities for the visitors of Ramlala. In this sequence, if the devotees of Ramlala fall ill in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, they will get immediate treatment. A hospital with modern medical facilities is going to open soon in the Pilgrim Facility Centre. This hospital will be opened by Apollo Institute. Apollo’s expert doctors will provide services here. Facilities ranging from ECG, X-ray to ultrasound will be available here.
The Board of Trustees of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has taken the decision to convert the Pilgrim Facility Center (PFC) located in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex into an emergency hospital. This hospital will be opened by Apollo Institute for which a contract has already been signed with the pilgrimage area. Although Teerth Kshetra had vacated six thousand square feet space on the ground floor of PFC and handed it over to the organization with this contract, but due to less space than the standard, the hospital could not be started till now. Due to this, the Board of Trustees decided to provide three thousand square meters i.e. about ten and a half thousand square feet of land.
According to this decision, the entire PFC will be shifted to the pilgrimage area office to convert it into a hospital. The office of the pilgrimage area is being constructed along with the guest house and auditorium in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Its construction has started with the unveiling of the foundation stone last Monday. On the other hand, the work of installing equipment is going on in the hospital being built in PFC. Ultrasound and X-ray machines are being installed. Critical care unit is also being set up. Two specialist doctors and ten paramedical staff will provide services here initially. A temporary hospital is already run by the Trust. In which expert homeopathic doctors provide services.
Devotees will get first aid in the premises itself.
80 thousand to one lakh visitors are reaching the court of Ramlala every day. This number increases two to three times on festivals. Common visitors get entry from Ram Janmabhoomi Path of Sugriva Fort. To reach there for darshan, the devotees have to walk about 1600 meters. In such situations, sometimes visitors also fall ill. Devotees used to fall down every day during the scorching summer season. In such a situation, he had to be taken by ambulance to Shri Ram Hospital for first aid. Now the pilgrims will be able to get first aid only at the Pilgrim Facility Center located in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. If necessary, ultrasound and X-ray can also be done on patients. This will provide a lot of convenience to the devotees.
