Vigilance has been increased in Ayodhya on December 6. The security of the Ram temple complex has been tightened. Checking campaign was conducted at all the entry routes of Ramnagari. The Chief Minister was on a visit to Ayodhya, hence security remained even tighter. Barriers were installed at many places, due to which the devotees also had to face problems. Intelligence agencies are keeping an eye on outsiders staying in all the hotels, dharamshalas and inns etc. of the city. Security personnel have increased patrolling in mixed areas.
Today, the Quran will be recited in mosques by the Muslim community, while there will also be programs by Hindu organizations. On Thursday evening, as a precautionary measure, vehicles coming and going were checked at the entrance of the city. Security personnel were seen alert at other entrances including Tedhi Bazaar Square, Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, Bandha Tiraha, Udaya Square. The incoming vehicles were searched and if necessary, people’s identity cards were also checked.
Intelligence police and policemen in plain clothes are keeping an eye on hotels and dharamshalas. The identity cards of the outsiders staying here were checked and verified. Under the direction of CO Ayodhya Ashutosh Tiwari, verification of street vendors is also being done in Ayodhya. Outside shopkeepers are being removed from here. At the same time, GRP and RPF conducted a search operation at Ayodhya and Ayodhya Cantt railway stations. CO Ayodhya SP Gautam said that a precautionary checking campaign was conducted. There are already strong security arrangements in Ayodhya.
These are reviewed by the officials from time to time. SP Security Balramachari Dubey said that the security of Ram temple has been tightened. All security agencies have been put on alert. The entire temple complex is being continuously searched, the complex is being monitored 24 hours.
