After 500 years, the new idol of Lord Ram has been consecrated in Ayodhya. After this, this is the first time when the festival of Shri Ram Navami is being celebrated in Ayodhya. The state government has made preparations to celebrate it with pomp and show on a large scale. It is believed that lakhs of people will reach Ayodhya on this occasion to have darshan of Lord Ram. In such a situation, preparations are being made here on a large scale regarding security.
The role of police administration will be important in successfully completing this important festival. Along with the security of the coming devotees, the police administration has also made a plan for crowd management, darshan and estimating the number of devotees. It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Ramnavmi, Ramnavmi fair has started in Ayodhya Dham from 9th April, which is going to continue till the day of Ramnavmi i.e. 17th April. There is a possibility of 25 lakh devotees here.

A large number of police officers will be deployed
On the occasion of Ram Navami fair, the entire fair area has been divided into a total of 7 zones and 39 sectors. At the same time, the traffic system is being ensured by dividing it into 2 zones and 11 clusters. For the security arrangements of the devotees in the entire fair area during the fair, 11 Additional Superintendents of Police, 26 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 150 Inspectors, 400 Sub Inspectors, 25 Women Sub Inspectors, 1305 Chief Constables/Constables, 270 Women Chief Constables/Constables, 15 Company PACs. Additional duty of 2 companies of flood relief, 1 team of SDRF and 1 team of ATS has been imposed.
An Additional Superintendent of Police has been made in-charge of police system in each zone and a Deputy Superintendent of Police/Inspector has been made in-charge of each sector. Apart from this, security arrangements will be ensured by imposing 24X7 duty in the temple premises and the entire outer fair area. Safe darshan arrangements will be ensured by installing a total of 15 drop down barriers and creating 13 holding areas on Rampath. PA systems have been installed at 50 places in the entire fair area and continuous monitoring is being done from the Yellow Zone Control Room through 111 CCTV cameras installed at various places.
Crowd monitoring will be done through CCTV cameras
On behalf of the police administration, to ensure orderly police arrangements for the fair, a fair control room has been set up from Irrigation Department Guest House to Nayaghat Police Chauthi. Police force will be arranged by dividing the routes of devotees mainly from Saket Petrol Pump via Lata Chowk, Saryu Ghat to Hanumangarhi and from Hanuman Garhi to Kanak Bhawan and Ramlala Temple into different zones and sectors. Apart from this, water police will be arranged for security on Saryu river and Ram ki Pauri, police and PAC forces will be arranged in various temples and fair areas.
The number of vehicles and devotees will be assessed and projected through 24 ANPR cameras at various places around Ayodhya Dham. The inflow and outflow of vehicles and devotees will be analyzed through cameras installed at Gonda border. Apart from this, the crowd at various places and the need for various traffic diversions will also be assessed and decided through CCTV cameras installed in Ayodhya Dham. The movement of devotees will be monitored through a total of 560 cameras installed in various control rooms in the Ayodhya Dham area. Along with this, real time analysis of various roads, streets and parking will be done through 2 tethered drones and 8 aerial drones.

– Ambulance and rescue team will be available at Fair Control, Pakka Ghat, Saket Petrol Pump, Nageshwar Nath, Hanuman Garhi, Shri Ram Janmu Bhoomi, Kanak Bhawan, Ayodhya Railway Station, Ayodhya Kotwari, Bandha Tiraha and Control Room (Reserve).
– Police assistance centers and inquiry offices will be set up at Bandha Tiraha, Bada Sthan Tiraha, Pakka Ghat, Ram Ki Paidi, Ranopali Crossing, Naya Ghat and Balu Barehata parking lot.
– Khoya Paya Camp will be established at Tulsi Udyan, Kotwali Ayodhya and Fair Control Room Naya Ghat.
