Guest handing over the trophy to the players in the competition organized at Army Public School.-Samvaad
Ayodhya. The final match of the Central Command Army Public School Inter-School Basketball Competition took place on Thursday morning in the basketball court premises of Army Public School, Ayodhya. In this match, Army Public School Ayodhya won the title by defeating Army Public School Ramgarh 19-13.
From the beginning of the match, Army Public School Ayodhya displayed aggressive performance and took the lead over Army Public School Ramgarh. Ayodhya was leading 5-0 till the first quarter, but at halftime the match was almost equal and Ramgarh took the lead of one basket to level the match 6-7.
After the intermission, Ayodhya continued its aggressive game and finally defeated Ramgarh by 19 baskets against 13. Earlier, in the second knockout match played, Ayodhya defeated Gorakhpur and entered the final. There were four teams in the knock out match. Army Public School Danapur, Gorakhpur Ramgarh and host Ayodhya.
In the end, school president Brigadier K Ranjeev Singh honored the winners and runners-up by presenting them trophies. On this occasion, the staff officer of the school, Lieutenant Colonel AS Negi, Principal Dr. Dheeraj Srivastava, Vice Principal Kusum Singh, Ananya Tripathi were present.
