Ayodhya. Women drone pilots have started flying high in the skies of Ramnagari, showcasing their abilities and achieving success. After completion of the training process, they have started providing services in the villages of three blocks of the district. They are becoming helpful to the farmers in using modern technology in farming.
Six names are included in the list of the first female drone pilots in the district. These include Shabina Khatoon and Sheela Yadav of Mawai, Nancy Chauhan and Gayatri of Rudauli and Sanju Yadav and Poonam Pandey of Sohawal. All of them have been associated with self-help groups. After this he was selected for the Drone Didi project. After selection they were sent for training. Participated in drone aviation training in Motihari, Pusa of Bihar and Naini of Prayagraj. During this, all of them were given technical information about operating the drone in two phases. Precautions to be taken during this period were explained.
After completion of training, now all these drone pilots have started their work here. Mainly, pesticides are being sprayed in the farmers’ fields with the help of drones. Drone pilot Shabina said that she has sprayed pesticides in sugarcane fields with the help of drones in many villages of Mavai and Rudauli block. Along with this, nano urea is being sprayed in vegetable fields. For this, farmers are being charged only Rs 200 for one bigha of land. In such a situation, labor, time and money of the farmers are being saved. In one bigha field, pesticide can be sprayed by drone in just seven minutes. Drone pilot Poonam Pandey said that if she gets regular work, a pilot can earn up to Rs 30,000 a month.
