A middle-aged man died late on Wednesday night after falling into a drain dug for the airport in Samaha Kala of Kotwali Ayodhya area. The family members kept searching for him throughout the night but could not find any trace of him. There was a stir when his body was found lying in the drain next to the house on Thursday morning. A large number of villagers gathered and expressed anger.

Village resident Ramcharan Yadav (45) had left home on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, under suspicious circumstances, he fell into the drain adjacent to the house. In the morning a large number of family members and villagers gathered and police were called. Ram Murat Yadav, brother of the deceased, said that the administration had dug the drain and left it in the open.

There is no way left even for commuting. Because of this it was inviting death. The accident happened due to the negligence of the administration. The villagers are adamant on not picking up the dead body until the police and administrative officials arrive. However, PRB police is present at the spot.
