House burnt after fire in Jiganahi forest located in Khandasa police station area of Milkipur tehsil area.
Milkypur. On Wednesday, the goods of 10 houses of Prasad’s Purva village were burnt to ashes due to the massive fire that broke out in the Jiganahi forest located in the Khandasa police station area. Five fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and were busy extinguishing the fire, only then the uncontrolled fire could be controlled.
Suddenly a massive fire broke out in the forest of Jiganahi village at 12 noon on Wednesday. The fire was so powerful that within no time it spread over an area of about three kilometers. The Majra of Bakchuna Gram Panchayat, Puri Ramprasad is also situated amidst the forest. Due to the strong wind, the flames engulfed 10 houses of the village due to which all the household items of these houses were burnt to ashes.
On the information of villagers, fire in-charge Milkypur Pradeep Kumar Pandey, fire personnel Ramashankar Singh, Harendra Patel, Ram Prasad, Hriday Ram Vishwakarma, Dinesh Mishra and Sandeep Bhatt reached the spot with two fire brigade vehicles but did not succeed in extinguishing the uncontrolled fire. The fire was brought under control when three more fire engines were called. In the fire, all the household items of Sukhram Maurya, Kashiram, Vishram, Manoj Kumar, America Prasad, Abhay, Pappu Maurya, Kamlesh, Ram Ashish and Vinod Kumar were burnt to ashes.
