After ten days the temperature became higher than normal

Pedestrians troubled by sun and heat on Wazirganj road.-Samvaad

Ayodhya. After ten days in May, the summer mercury crossed the normal point on Thursday. In such a situation, the strong sunlight started harassing everyone since morning. The heat in the afternoon made me nervous. Since the wind speed was slow, the heat waves did not bother much. While traveling on the roads, pedestrians were seen looking for shade to get relief.

This month, on May 5, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees above normal. After this, the period of falling temperature started from May 6. Due to the effect of the cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal from May 8 to 13, the temperature did not increase.

Due to this, the sky remained cloudy for some days during this interval. One day there was a storm with a speed of 20 km per hour for 10 minutes. From May 6 to 13, the maximum temperature did not cross the 38 mark. The lowest maximum temperature was 34.5 degrees Celsius on May 7, four degrees below normal.

Even though the temperature increased slightly on May 15, it remained normal reaching 39.5 degrees. On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.5 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. In such a situation, the heat made its fierce nature felt.

The minimum temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius. The wind blew in north-westerly direction at a speed of 2.7 km per hour. Dr. Sitaram Mishra, meteorologist of Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, said that there is a possibility of light clouds in eastern Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Average temperature may remain above normal.
