Ayodhya. Divisional school cricket competition was held on Tuesday in the stadium located at Maqbara. This competition held in the under-19 boys category was inaugurated by Abhimanyu Singh, technical advisor of School Games Federation of India. In the first match, Ambedkar Nagar team scored 59 runs while batting. Chasing the target, Barabanki team was all out for 54 runs. The semi-final was held between Sultanpur and Amethi. In which Amethi team was all out for 60 runs in eight overs. In reply, Sultanpur team was also all out for 60 runs in eight overs. Then in the super over, Sultanpur team was victorious. In the second semi-final match, Ambedkar Nagar team batted first and scored 68 runs, in reply Ayodhya team could score only 46 runs. The final match was played between Sultanpur and Ambedkar Nagar. Sultanpur team scored 34 runs while batting. Ambedkar Nagar team won the title by winning with one over remaining.
