After the installation of Ramlala’s idol, the number of devotees in Ayodhya has doubled. More than 70 thousand devotees are visiting Ramlala’s court every day in Ayodhya. Not only this, 2.5 crore devotees have reached Ayodhya in the last eight months. Among them, the number of VIP and VVIP devotees is more than five lakh.
After the inauguration of Ram Mandir on 22 January, a huge crowd of devotees thronged Ayodhya. The situation was such that within four months of Pran Pratishtha, 1.5 crore devotees came to Ayodhya. However, the number of devotees has decreased now as compared to earlier. After Pran Pratishtha, more than 1.50 lakh devotees were reaching Ramlala’s court daily, but since April, the number has decreased. Now 70 to 90 thousand devotees have been attending Ramlala’s court daily. Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that at present more than 70 thousand devotees are reaching Ramlala’s Darbar daily.
He said that in the last eight months, many facilities have been increased for the devotees. Three types of passes are issued for easy darshan. Along with easy darshan pass and special pass, passes are also made for attending aarti. Meanwhile, District Tourism Officer RP Yadav says that the correct figure of devotees who have reached Ayodhya this year will be available in January, but in the last eight months, more than 2.5 crore devotees have come to Ayodhya.
Three thousand foreign devotees also arrived
After the consecration of Ram Lalla in Shri Ram temple, about three thousand foreign devotees reached Ayodhya for darshan. These include people from America, Britain, Nepal, Sri Lanka and many other countries. Apart from this, the number of VVIP and VIP darshan along with the President, Prime Minister is above five lakh. This is a record of VIP darshan in such a short time at a single place.
