The construction of the 161 feet high spire of Ram temple has been started from the first day of Navratri. On Thursday, the Vedic Acharyas worshiped the first stone of the peak as per the rituals. The construction of the peak was started from this rock. General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai also inscribed the name of Shri Ram on the stone. Although the height of Ram temple is 161 feet, a 44 feet high religious flag will also be installed on it.
Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra reviewed the construction works on Thursday. He told that the construction work is going on at its own pace. The work will be completed on the deadline that has been set. The peak of the temple being built in Nagar style will also be of the same style. Shikhar has been designed by architect Ashish Sompura. The design has already been finalized by the Trust. It will take 120 days to construct the peak. The spire will be constructed by 300 skilled artisans from Gujarat and Rajasthan.
After the meeting of Ram Mandir Construction Committee, General Secretary of Ram Mandir Trust Champat Rai said that the work of Parkota and Sapta Mandapam is going on simultaneously. These works will be completed by December 2025. The foundation work of Sheshavatar temple has started. The work that is still left includes an auditorium to seat 500 people, guest house, trust office and Tulsi Das temple. Its tenders have been floated. Temple trustee Dr. Anil Mishra, construction in-charge Gopal Rao, architect Ashish Sompura and engineers of the executing agency were present in the meeting.
Construction of Ram Darbar idols also started
On the other hand, the work of making the idols of Ram Darbar to be installed on the first floor of Ram temple has also been started from the first day of Navratri. Rajasthan’s sculptor Satyanarayan Pandey started the work of making the statue on Thursday after ritually worshiping the stones. Told that the statues of Ram Darbar will be made on marble. The idols will be ready in three months. Ramdarbar will reach Ayodhya in the month of January.
