Preparations are also going on in Ayodhya for the Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj. After Prayagraj, bathing is accepted in Ayodhya. Due to this, the district administration and Ram Mandir Trust are brainstorming on providing better arrangements to the devotees. On Thursday, Trust officials held a meeting with the security agencies of Ram Janmabhoomi. It has been decided that the period of darshan of Ramlala will be extended during Mahakumbh.

Due to this belief, a large number of devotees, after taking a dip in Prayagraj, definitely reach Ayodhya for bathing, donation, darshan and worship. Regarding this, Ram Mandir Trust officials Dr. Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao held a meeting with SP Security Bal Ramachari Dubey, SSF, CRPF, PAC officials in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex and brainstormed on security arrangements and facilities.

It has been decided in the meeting that the first anniversary of Ramlala’s death will be celebrated as Pratistha Dwadashi from 10 to 12 January. During this period, a large number of devotees are likely to reach Ram temple. After this, Kumbh Mela will start from January 15, due to which the crowd of devotees will also increase. In view of this, the period of darshan of Ramlala can be increased. Besides, there was also discussion on increasing the queue and Prasad counter on Darshanpath.

SP Security Balramachari Dubey said that the decision to extend the darshan period will depend on the crowd situation after consultation with the Trust. Work is being done on this plan so that more and more devotees can easily have darshan of Ramlala. In the meeting, all the security agencies have been advised to behave well with the devotees. He said that the work of modern security equipment being installed in the campus by the Government Construction Corporation will also be completed by January 10.
