The festival of Makar Sankranti will be celebrated on Tuesday. Lakhs of devotees are likely to gather in Ramnagari on this festival. In view of this, traffic diversion has been implemented in Ayodhya Dham. Entry of four wheelers will be restricted. Extensive arrangements have also been made from security point of view. Devotees from far and wide will reach here even on the occasion of Makar Sankranti bath. More than 150 changing rooms have been built on the ghats of Saryu for bathing. Apart from this, lighting arrangements have also been made on the ghats. Water police will be deployed on the ghats with life jackets on boats and steamers. Barricading has been done in the river. By blowing the whistle people will be stopped from going towards deep water. A large number of women police forces have also been deployed. SSP Rajkaran Nayyar said that a large number of police forces have been deployed for security. Routes have also been diverted.
Lighting on trees, selfie points at 15 places
The Municipal Corporation is ready to welcome the devotees coming to Ayodhya. The Municipal Corporation administration has not only installed lighting on pots and trees at various places. In fact, selfie points have also been made at 15 major places. Municipal Commissioner Santosh Sharma said that excellent lighting arrangements have been made at all the major ghats, so that the devotees do not face any problem while taking bath in the morning. Special attention has also been paid to the cleanliness and hygiene of the ghats.
70 beds reserved in hospitals
CMO Dr. Pushpendra Kumar told that on Makar Sankranti, there is a procession of devotees in Ayodhya for two days after bathing in Prayagraj. In view of this, camps are being run at 16 places at 12 major places. Ambulances have been deployed at the same number of places. 70 beds have been reserved including the Medical College, District Hospital, Shri Ram Hospital and 100 bedded hospital of Kumarganj.
Auspicious time for bathing and donation
According to Acharya Shivendra, taking bath and donating on Makar Sankranti gives special results. The time of Sun’s entry into Capricorn on January 14 is 8:55 am. Punya Kaal will be from 8:55 am to 12:51 pm. You can take bath and donate in it. Mahapunya Kaal is from 8:55 am to 9:29 am. During this time there is also Amrit Kaal, which makes it even more auspicious. Acharya Shivendra told that this time an auspicious coincidence is going to happen on Makar Sankranti after 30 years. Actually, Shani Dev will create Shash Mahapurush Yoga in Aquarius on this day. Sesame seeds, urad, paddy, khichdi and jaggery are donated along with the pilgrimage bath.
