A special team of doctors has been specially appointed for the better treatment of the rape victim admitted in Ayodhya District Women’s Hospital. At the same time, special care is being taken of the diet of the victim in view of the lack of blood in her body. On the advice of expert doctors, she has been allowed to eat nutritious food from outside as well apart from the hospital menu.
The teenager who got pregnant after being raped in Bhadarsa of Purakalandar police station area was shifted to KGMU on August 5 for abortion and better treatment. After the abortion, she was again admitted to the District Women’s Hospital late on Friday evening after her condition improved.
She has been admitted in a private ward on the fourth floor under tight security. Also, special care is being taken of her treatment and food. A gynecologist has been deployed in each shift. On-call consultation is also being taken from physicians and general surgeons.
Two staff nurses, ward boy and sweeper have been appointed for care. As soon as she gets free from administrative work, CMS herself visits the patient and enquires about his health. Milk, bread and porridge were given on Saturday morning. Later, dal was given. Tehri, roti and salad were given in the afternoon. Fruits and other nutritious food are also being given in between.
