State President of Bahujan Samaj Party Vishwanath Pal said that Home Minister Amit Shah has used objectionable words about Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Parliament. This has deeply hurt the sentiments of the Dalits and neglected classes. In such a situation, the Home Minister should take back these words and repent.

He was speaking at the district level meeting of BSP at the office located at Bahu Begum Tomb. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that as part of the countrywide movement, a one-day strike will be held at Hemu Kalani Tikonia Park in front of Sadar Tehsil on 24th December from 10 am. A procession will be taken out from here at 3 pm and a memorandum addressed to the President will be handed over to the DM at the Collectorate at 3 pm via roadways.
In the meeting, the State President said that the conduct, character and face of Congress, BJP and their allies have always been narrow and casteist towards Baba Saheb. Due to this, the social, economic and political condition of Dalits and deprived classes is continuously worsening.
Mandal in-charge Mahendra Pratap Anand said that all parties are the same in injustice, atrocities against the followers of Dr. Ambedkar and snatching them away instead of giving them their constitutional and legal rights. The ongoing dispute between the government and the opposition regarding the honor of Baba Saheb is only politics of selfishness for votes.
The meeting was presided over by District President Krishna Kumar Pasi and District In-charge Pradeep Bharti. During this time Ravi Prakash Maurya, Mohd. Asad, Arvind Gautam, Arvind Bharti, Vanshraj Pal, Anil Kumar, Mustafa Ali, Suraj Kori, Vijay Gautam, Ramnayan Nindosh, Rajkumar Gautam, Neha Verma, Ram Gopal Kori, Babu Maurya, Bajrangi Gautam, Rakesh Gautam, Ram Shringar Yadav, Himmat Singh and Jeet Bahadur Rawat were present.
