Ayodhya. Kartik Parikrama and Purnima Fair is going to start from November 9. Now only 48 hours are left for the parikrama to start. The administration is getting the work done day and night, hence the challenge is to make the path suitable for circumambulation within this time. Potholes on Chaudhakosi and Panchkosi Parikrama Marg are being filled. Where there are gravel, sand is being poured, where roads have not been built, roads are being built. The officers and employees of Municipal Corporation and Public Works Department are continuously standing firm.
The Parikrama Fair will begin on Akshaya Navami on November 9 with 14 Kosi Parikrama. In this regard, the work of polishing the parikrama path is going on in full swing. Barricading is being done on both sides of the parikrama path. Road construction work has been completed from Hanumangufa to Deenbandhu Tirahe. A pit for the duct was dug at Deenbandhu Tiraha itself and work is going on there day and night. It was told that this work would be completed by the evening of 8th. Here, the work of building the road from Mohbara Bazaar to Udaya Overbridge is also going on at a fast pace.
No decision has been taken yet as to how the one and a half feet space left in the middle of the parikrama path will be covered for the construction of the divider. There are pebbles scattered in the middle of it. If there is too much crowd, it can cause an accident. It is not possible to complete the work of divider on Chaudhakosi and Panchkosi path before parikrama. City MLA Ved Prakash Gupta said that the path will be made suitable for circumambulation by the evening of November 8.
Preparations started in the fair area also
On the other hand, preparations have started in the fair area also. Sound broadcasting equipment has been installed on Rampath through which Ram Bhajans are resonating. Through these sound broadcasting devices, important information related to the fair is broadcasted in the fair area. This proves effective for devotees who get lost in the fair area. Apart from this, the Municipal Corporation has also deployed cleaning staff for cleaning the fair area.
Transport Corporation buses will make additional trips

A large number of devotees from Gonda, Basti, Akbarpur, Balrampur, Bahraich, Amethi, Sultanpur and other neighboring districts participate in the parikrama. Ayodhya depot buses will be put on road from November 8. A total of 123 buses are being run in Ayodhya. For the pilgrims, all the buses of the depots will run on different routes.
