Ayodhya. Former President Ramnath Kovind reached Ayodhya on Friday afternoon with 70 members. He performed darshan and worship at Hanumangarhi and performed the aarti of Maa Saryu. During this he said that participating in Saryu Aarti is a divine experience in itself. Looking at Ayodhya, it seems that the time period of 500 years ago has returned again.
He said that due to the grace of Saryu and many other aspects, the construction of Ram temple has been possible. May the blessings of Saryu Mata be upon everyone. Before this, he got down by Vande Bharat train at Ayodhyadham railway station at 2:30 pm. From here reached Digambar Jain temple Raiganj. Here he was felicitated grandly by playing bands and showering flowers. The former President met the top saint of Jainism, Gyanmati Mata, took blessings and had spiritual discussions. Jain temple head Swami Ravindra Kirti, Pandit Vijay Jain, Manoj Jain, Pankaj Jain and Rishabh Jain honored the former President by giving him a memento.
After resting for some time here, the former President left for Saryu beach along with his wife Savita Kovind, daughter Swati Kovind and others. Here he performed Abhishek-worship of Maa Saryu and performed Maha Aarti of 1051 lights. Mahant Shashikant Das, convener of Anjaneya Seva Sansthan, gave prasad to everyone. After this he attended the court of Hanumanthala. The former President reached Jain temple for night rest. Will attend Ramlala’s Mangala Aarti on Saturday morning. After this, he will also be a part of the rituals organized in the Jain temple. They will stay in Ayodhya for 24 hours.
