Rudauli. In the final match of Rudauli Premier League five-day night cricket tournament, Dream Warriors won the RPL title by 39 runs.
The final match was played between Dream Warriors and RNC XI at the playground of Hamid Ali Inter College. Dream Warriors won the toss and decided to bat first. Dream Warriors lost six wickets in the stipulated eight overs and set the target of 124 runs to RNC XI.
RNC XI team failed to chase the target and could score only 84 runs after losing five wickets in the stipulated overs. The sponsors of the tournament handed over the winner’s trophy and prize money of Rs 1 lakh to Dream Warriors owner councilor Gufran Ahmed and captain Taj Hasan.
The owner and captain of RNC XI, Ashish Kumar, who was the runner-up, was given the runner-up trophy and a cash prize of Rs 50,000. The match was umpired by Aamir Khan, Sanu, Khurshid Ahmed and Shamsuddin. Commentary was done by Mohammad Shakib and Asad Usmani.
