The Yogi government of the state had approved the formation of this special security force in June 2020. Five corps of UPSSF were ready in June 2021. These include Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Mathura and Saharanpur. Recently, the government had formed the sixth corps of UPSSF for the security of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex and other major religious places and establishments in Ayodhya.

For the establishment of the Sixth Corps, 20 acres of undisputed land is being searched in Ayodhya city as well as Gonda district. As soon as suitable land is found, construction of residential and non-residential buildings will be started along with the establishment of the Vahini.
Instructions issued for marking land
In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Home on 18 November and 19 December 2024, Chief Revenue Officer Ayodhya and Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Gonda have been instructed to identify suitable land for providing 20 acres of free land outright. .
The process of construction of the corps will start in 2025
The government has also asked for details of the expenditure incurred on purchasing additional land, if required. It is believed that as per the intention of the government, the process of construction of the corps will definitely start in the new year 2025. In view of this, the district administration here has started searching for suitable land on a war footing.
Search for 20 acres of land started
In this regard, Additional District Magistrate Alok Kumar said that as per the instructions of the government, the search for 20 acres of land required for the establishment of the corps has been started. The government will be informed once suitable land is identified as per the standards.
