The Indian Medical Association (IMA) held a silent demonstration in Gandhi Park in the city regarding the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. IMA member doctors were present during the silent demonstration. During the demonstration, demands were made to stop atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and protection of doctors. IMA officials said that the doctors who were treating the victims were being made victims. The lawyers who are fighting their case are also being harassed. President of a group of IMA, Dr. Manjusha Pandey has demanded the intervention of the Government of India and the United Nations to stop the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Their demand is that the United Nations and the Government of India should order the Bangladesh Government to control the radicals. After the silent protest, IMA members also submitted a memorandum to SP City Madhuban Singh.
