Ayodhya. The pace of construction of Ram temple has once again increased. Laborers and artisans who went on leave on Diwali and Chhath festivals have returned. The pace of construction work has been increased from Wednesday.
The construction work of Ram Mandir including the shikhara, parkota, Saptamandapam and Sheshavtar temple has once again started gaining momentum. It was told that about 1800 laborers have started work. On the occasion of Diwali and Chhath festival, laborers and artisans had gone on leave, due to which the pace of construction of Ram temple was affected for a fortnight, now the laborers have returned.
The work of construction of the peak of Ram temple has been expedited. The eighth layer of the peak is being molded. Apart from this, the work on the seven temples of Saptamandapam has also been expedited. After the completion of the foundation work of Sheshavtar temple, the structure work has also been started.
It was told by the Trust that preparations are also being made to inlay the doors on the first and second floors of the Ram temple with gold. The artisans of Hyderabad are giving shape to the doors of these two floors. The measurements of the doors have been taken, first they will be coated with copper and then gold will be inlaid.
All the doors of the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple are already studded with gold. Trustee of Ram Mandir, Dr. Anil Mishra said that the workers who went on leave have returned and the pace of work has increased. Laborers are working for eight hours each in two shifts for the construction including the parkata.
