Ayodhya. The notification for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections was released on Friday. With this, the process of nomination by the candidates of Faizabad Lok Sabha seat was started. On the first day of nomination, BJP’s official candidate Lallu Singh filed nomination papers.

During this period, 29 sets of nomination papers were taken from 21 candidates and their representatives. There were special security arrangements. Zone and sector wise police were deployed by barricading within 100 meter radius of the Collectorate.

The process of nomination for Faizabad seat for Lok Sabha elections started at 11 am. Arrangements for entry from the treasury gate for the candidates coming for nomination were made effective. Only five people were allowed to go with one candidate. At 12.20 pm, BJP candidate Lallu Singh entered the DM court room to file nomination very simply.

The proposer of the BJP candidate was Satendra Nath Tripathi, a retired professor of Saket College. At 12.32 pm, Lallu Singh filed nomination papers in one set. During this, he was accompanied by Lok Sabha Area Convener Banke Bihari Mani Tripathi, BJP District President Sanjeev Singh, Metropolitan President Kamlesh Srivastava and Legal Cell Incharge of Election Steering Committee, Prof. Krishna Murari Singh was present. District Election Officer Nitish Kumar said that the nomination related process continued in his court room from 11 am to 3 pm. During this, Deputy District Election Officer Anirudh Pratap Singh, ADM City Salil Patel and SDM Sadar Rajkumar Pandey were present. Deputy Director Information Dr. Muralidhar Singh said that information regarding the documents submitted by the candidate who has filed nomination is available on the website of the Election Commission.

There were special security arrangements inside and outside the Collectorate premises during the nomination. SSP Rajkaran Nayyar inspected and directed the officers and police personnel on duty.

SSP said that only the candidates coming for nomination from the treasury gate will get entry. Police forces along with gazetted officers have been deployed by barricading the Collectorate premises and outside it. Representatives of all political parties were given detailed information about the rules related to the nomination process in a meeting organized by the DM on Thursday itself.

Nominations will be held again on May 1 with musical instruments and procession.

On this day, after 12 noon, the auspicious time will be effective throughout the day.

BJP candidate Lallu Singh is the owner of property worth Rs 1.91 crore. His wife Sarita Singh is the owner of property worth Rs 1.25 crore. He has inherited property worth Rs 1.95 crore. The BJP candidate also has a loan of Rs 1.11 crore from banks and financial institutions. There is no criminal case pending against them.

According to the affidavit provided by the BJP candidate to the Election Commission, his total income in the year 2022-23 was Rs 13.90 lakh. Whereas the wife’s income is Rs 3.84 lakh. His movable assets are worth Rs 1.05 crore and that of his wife is worth Rs 41.20 lakh. Whereas the immovable property is worth Rs 85.75 lakh. There is also immovable property worth Rs 84.23 lakh in the name of the wife.

Wife Sarita has a loan of Rs 25.89 lakh from banks and financial institutions. Lallu Singh is a Law graduate and Masters in Political Science from Saket College. The BJP candidate currently has cash of Rs 1.70 lakh and his wife has cash of Rs 1.25 lakh. He has accounts in six banks. Of these, Rs 68.14 lakh are deposited. Wife has accounts in two banks.

Rs 2.26 lakh are deposited in these. He has shares worth Rs 2.29 lakh in Lucknow’s Co-operative Bank and Rs 25,100 in Sadhan Co-operative Society Kotsarai. His wife holds 50 percent stake in New Saket Transport Agency worth Rs 16,01,857. Lallu Singh has an Innova, a Royal Enfield Classic and a bike. He has 35 grams of gold jewelery worth Rs 2,36,005. While the wife has 310 grams of gold jewelery worth Rs 20 lakh.

There is also silver jewelery worth Rs 70 thousand. Similarly, Lallu Singh has 12.28 acres of agricultural land. There is 204 square meters of non-agricultural land. There is 144 square meters of non-agricultural land in the name of his wife.
