Like ordinary devotees, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also had darshan of Shri Ramlala on Sunday evening. As soon as he reached the court of Ramlala, he prostrated himself before him and presented himself as a supplicant and sought blessings for victory in the elections. Aarti of Ramlala was also performed. PM stayed in Ramlala’s court for about 15 minutes. After this, a road show was conducted from Rampath to Lata Chowk. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also rode with him in the chariot. The Prime Minister gave a political message not only to Ramnagari but also to all the seats in the remaining five phases of Lok Sabha elections.
100 women wearing turbans wearing clothes of the same color were walking in front of the chariot. As soon as the chariot moved forward on the Rampath, a shower of flowers started from the flower cannon. Along with this, the Saints and Mahants performed Aarti amidst the sound of conch shells from the stage built on the right side. Slowly, Modi’s chariot and the long convoy behind started moving forward on the Rampath.
Local citizens and devotees present in the 82 blocks situated at some distance on the right lane kept showering flowers on him. During this time, the musical sound of bells, gongs, damru and band was creating a different atmosphere. Folk artists welcomed the PM with dance and music on the stages set up at five places.
