Devotees took a dip of faith in Saryu

The festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated in Ramnagari Ayodhya on Tuesday. Here faith seemed to outweigh the cold. Despite the severe cold, devotees gathered in large numbers to take a dip in the holy Salila Saryu. After the bath, after worshiping Lord Surya, donating sesame seeds, Khichdi and donating cow, the crowd of devotees flocked towards the major temples.
