Bahujan Samaj Party will not contest the by-election on Milkipur assembly seat of Ayodhya. Earlier, the party had decided to field the 2017 assembly election candidate Ram Gopal Kori, who had also campaigned vigorously. After the results of by-elections held on nine seats came out, BSP supremo Mayawati had decided not to contest any by-election in future, alleging misuse of government machinery in the by-elections.

On the other hand, BSP is focusing completely on Delhi Assembly elections. Party’s National Coordinator Akash Anand has addressed a large public meeting in Delhi on January 5. His second public meeting is on 12th January. BSP India is exposing the turmoil among the alliance parties in Delhi elections, so that the path of victory of BSP candidates can be made easier.
