Mission Green Ayodhya team came to save trees in Ayodhya

Officials of Mission Green Team meeting Hapur.

Ayodhya. The city is suffering the consequences of the sacrifice of thousands of green trees for the development of Ayodhya city. Now, there is a plan to sacrifice thousands of trees again for road widening from Sahadatganj to Nirmalikund. To save them, the youth of Mission Green Ayodhya Team, Human Rights Welfare Institute, Sahyog Welfare Foundation, Young Hume Society, Prayas Trust have taken the charge.

The team members have noted the number of trees to be cut and have surveyed which tree can be displaced and which tree can be saved, etc. A demand letter has been submitted to the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Mayor, Divisional Commissioner, CEO Cantt, Army Headquarters, Forest Department and Horticulture Department officials, requesting to save the trees. This team is now going to approach the Chief Minister as well with their complaint. More than 1200 trees have been identified for cutting in the road widening from Sahadatganj to Nirmali Kund.

Dhananjay Pandey, Himanshu Kant Tripathi, Tarun Malviya, Acharya Ram Sufal, Rajpal, Abhishek Shukla, Praful Gupta, Dilip Dubey, Amit Pathak of Mission Green Ayodhya are working with full dedication to save the trees. The youth said that there is neither a market nor a settlement on the Nirmali Kund road. People go to Guptarghat, Nirmali Kund, Yamathra Chat for religious tourism, so there is no need for a very wide road.

If you do this, you can save trees

According to Green Mission, if the widening of Parikrama Marg from Sahadatganj to Nirmalikund is done towards the river i.e. on the left side, then trees can be saved. There are 276 small trees on the left and right side. In which 70 banyan trees can be displaced. There are around 100 trees from Sahadatganj to the checkpost. In which 35 can be displaced whereas there are 64 trees towards the checkpost, out of which 27 can be displaced. From Monal Esport to the Residence, nine out of 34 trees can be displaced. It was told that there are more than 1200 trees from Nirmalikund to Sahadatganj Hanumangarhi, in which more than half can be displaced.
