Ayodhya. In view of the Lok Sabha elections, the process of acquisition of vehicles has started. For this, RTO has started sending notices to vehicle owners. Notice has been given for the acquisition of 1253 vehicles in the first phase. The police department has been deployed to assist the RTO in this work. To ensure that there is no shortage of vehicles during the voting to be held on May 20, notices will be sent to different vehicle owners in several phases as per the need.
Preparations for the acquisition of vehicles for the elections were started a month in advance. This time the fare for acquired vehicles has been increased by 50 percent. It is expected that there will be no shortage of vehicles in any way. ARTO Administration Dr. RP Singh said that till now 1253 notices have been sent to all the police stations. These notices will be delivered to the vehicle owners through the police. He said that about 950 notices have been prepared for the second phase and 300 more for the third phase.
