Ayodhya. The number of devotees visiting Ramlala’s court has started increasing once again. Every day around one lakh devotees are attending Ramlala’s court. After Ramnavami, the number of devotees suddenly decreased, now in the holiday month, the devotees have started increasing again. At the same time, the offerings and donations to Ramlala have also started increasing. The number of employees for counting the offerings has been increased from 14 to 20. Also, the offerings are counted in two shifts.

After Ram Navami, the number of devotees decreased three times. After the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala, two lakh devotees used to visit Ramlala’s court daily. After Ram Navami, this number decreased to 50 to 60 thousand. Now the number of devotees has started increasing once again. In the last four days, more than four lakh devotees have visited and worshipped at Ramlala’s court. In a day, 90 thousand to one lakh devotees are paying obeisance. It is believed that this number will increase continuously now.

Prakash Gupta, office in-charge of Ram Mandir Trust, says that the counting of offerings to Ramlala is now done every day. Earlier, the counting of offerings to Ramlala used to go on from 11 am to 4 pm, but now it has been done in two shifts. Now the money received in the donation box is counted from 11 am to 2 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The responsibility of counting the donation amount is handled by the employees of State Bank. Every month, offerings worth about 1.5 crore are being offered to Ramlala through various means. He said that devotees donate funds to Ramlala through cheque, cash, RTGS and online means. Every month, a fund of four to five lakhs is donated by the devotees.
