Ayodhya. To ensure safe and fair Lok Sabha elections, the first three-day training of polling personnel has started. The presiding officers and first polling officers were trained at Saket College. District Election Officer Nitish Kumar instructed the polling personnel to study all the points of the presiding directory provided.
During this, the DM said that the presiding officer and the first polling officer have an important place in the voting process. He also took information about various voting procedures from the polling personnel after training and resolved their queries.
He said that transparency and fairness should be maintained during the election process. Do not discuss anything related to political parties. Do not take anyone’s help in eating or drinking at the booth. Be sure to keep the mobile numbers of your respective Sector Magistrates, inform them immediately in case of any problem.
On behalf of the master trainers, the polling personnel were given information about how to reach the polling station from the party departure point. Before the start of polling on the polling day, all the voting procedures including mock poll and CRC and sealing of EVMs and VV Pats after polling were explained through PPT in a step-by-step manner. During this, Joint Magistrate Swati Sharma, District Development Officer Upendra Pal, PD DRDA RP Singh and BSA Santosh Rai were present.
