Accused SP leader Moeed Khan and his servant Raju Khan, detained in jail in the case of gang rape of a teenage girl in Purakalandar police station area of Ayodhya district, were summoned on remand in the Gangster Court in the Gangster Act case.

Special Public Prosecutor Vikas Shukla presented the case in the court on the action of Gangster Act against Moeed and Raju on the charges of gang rape. Demanded that the accused be given police remand to interrogate them in connection with the incident. Special Judge of Gangster Court Mohinder Kumar has passed an order granting permission to the police to interrogate the accused regarding the incident.
The charge sheet against accused Moeed Khan and Raju Khan under half a dozen serious sections including gang rape has already been presented in the court of Special Judge POCSO Act I. The sample match of accused Raju Khan was found in the DNA report presented during the bail hearing of Moeed Khan in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court. The sample of Moeed Khan’s DNA report was found to be different from the blood sample of the victim.
