Trust officials present in the meeting held at Ram Mandir premises, Chairman of Temple Construction Committee, Shri
Ayodhya. The two-day meeting of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti began on Thursday. Informing about the progress of the construction of the Ram Mandir, Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, said that the construction work of the temple is two months behind the scheduled deadline. Still, the first and second floors of the temple will be ready in the first quarter of 2025. The construction work of Ram Darbar on the first floor will be completed by November.
He told that the layout of the statue of Ram Darbar has been finalized. Vasudev Kamat, who is looking after the process of statue making, has finalized the clay of the statue. He has finalized the shape made of fiber. Soon the construction of the statue will start on stone. All the statues of Ram Darbar will be made by November. He said that right now the construction of the peak is the biggest challenge for us. The work of peak construction will be started in the presence of all the working agencies of the temple construction. The work of peak construction will start from the first week of October. He told that the weather did not support us, so the speed of work has been affected a bit.
It was told that the construction work of Parakota, Sapta Mandapam and Sheshavatar was reviewed in the meeting. One temple of Sapta Mandapam is 70 percent complete. The work of four temples is 50 percent complete. While the construction of two temples has started. Trustee Dr Anil Mishra, temple construction in-charge Gopal Rao, architect Ashish Sompura and engineers of the implementing agency were present in the meeting of Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti.
The number of workers increased to 1600
After the meeting, Ram Mandir Trust member Dr Anil Mishra said that the number of workers has now increased to 1600. The work of the rampart is going on at the scheduled pace. The statues of the rampart are being made in Jaipur. The Angad and Nal mounds located in the premises will also be beautified. GMR Company, which is looking after the beautification work, has been asked to prepare its design and drawing.
Free hospital will start from Navratri
Dr Anil Mishra said that the free hospital will start functioning from Navratri in the pilgrim facility center complex. This hospital will be operated by Apollo. A good quality emergency will be established here. Ambulances, medicines etc. will be available. A team of specialist doctors will be appointed here.
