The work of shaping the proposed Nava Ayodhya on 1893 acres in Ramnagari has intensified. IIT Roorkee is preparing the design of Nava Ayodhya. So far, the design of roads, drainage and sewer has been finalized. The work on roads is going on, while the DPR of drainage and sewer has been sent. The drainage system of Nava Ayodhya will be built in such a way that there will be no waterlogging here even during heavy rains.
So far, the process of land acquisition has been completed in Manjha Barhata, Shahnevazpur, Tihura Manjha. 90 percent of the land has been acquired for the scheme. The work of shaping Nava Ayodhya will be done in three phases. In the first phase, construction work of drainage, road, sewer, boundary wall is in progress.
The constructions in this ambitious project, which is being developed on the theme of Ramayana with the inclusion of modernity, will be on the standards of GIFT City built in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Recently, a team of engineers from the Housing Development Department also visited GIFT City. PK Singh, Superintending Engineer of Housing Development Department, said that the drainage of Nava Ayodhya will be on the standards of GIFT City. Water will not accumulate here during the rainy season, waterlogging will be able to drain out quickly. So far, seven states have asked for land in Nava Ayodhya. While many other countries have also shown interest in land in Nava Ayodhya.
Indonesia showed interest in acquiring the land
Superintending Engineer PK Singh said that now seven states have asked for land in Nava Ayodhya. 5253 square meters of land has been allotted to Uttarakhand. The process of allocating land to Gujarat and Maharashtra is underway. Apart from this, the process of giving land to Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh is also progressing. Indonesia and Thailand have also shown interest in taking land in Nava Ayodhya. Sri Lanka and Nepal have already shown interest in taking land. The process of giving land to them is progressing under foreign policy.
Different rates for plots in Nava Ayodhya
The rate of residential plots in Nava Ayodhya is Rs 35,870 per square meter, the base rate of commercial plots is Rs 71,740 per square meter and for monasteries and temples etc. it is Rs 53,805 per square meter. The 400 residential plots will be sold last. Commercial plots will be sold through auction. First of all, land is being given for monasteries and temples, Dharamshalas, hotels, malls, schools, colleges, international buildings, guest houses of states etc.
