Second death in Paglabhaari blast, one in critical condition

Hanumatnagar/Ayodhya. His mother Shivpata (65) also died in the blast that took place at the house of flour mill operator Ramkumar Gupta on Saturday evening in Paglabhari village of Purakalandar police station area. This is the second death in this accident. Apart from this, Ramkumar’s wife Bindu, who was 90 percent burnt, was also referred to Lucknow. His life is also in danger.

On the other hand, the post-mortem of the body of Priyanka, the girl who lost her life in the same blast a day earlier, has been done by a panel of doctors on Sunday morning. Amidst grief and anger, the body was cremated in Bharatkund late in the evening.

Girl Priyanka died on the spot after being hit by a house that fell after the blast in Paglabhari village. Six people of his family including the flour mill operator were injured. When his condition became serious, Shivpata was referred to Lucknow.

Since there was no attendant to take her to Lucknow on time, she remained in the emergency room suffering for almost two hours. Later a relative took him to Lucknow, where he died late in the night. All other injured are currently undergoing treatment in the district hospital.

Traces of gunpowder seen on walls, anger over claims of cylinder exploding

There is anger among the villagers and family members regarding the death of a girl due to the collapse of the house following the loud explosions in the house of a flour mill operator. When claims of explosion caused by bursting of cylinder surfaced, women of the village gathered in large numbers at the spot on Sunday. The women raised questions on the working style of the police administration and accused them of hiding evidence. Claiming that the explosion was caused by gunpowder, everyone kept demanding strict action against the flour mill operator.

However, there is silence in the village after the incident. Police have been deployed to maintain peace. There was a gathering of relatives and villagers at the house of the deceased on Sunday morning. As much as they were sad about the girl’s death, they were more angry about the incident. The attempt to cover up the real causes of the incident had added fuel to the fire.

In the afternoon the anger increased so much that women gathered at the spot. She also condemned the debris being picked up overnight by JCB and thrown on the road. Ramlali said that there was such a hurry that the debris was picked up and thrown away in the night itself. Had we waited till morning, the villagers would have also known the truth about how the accident had happened. Traces of gunpowder are also visible on the walls.

Villager Santram said that accidents have happened again and again. The villagers have also opposed this. There is a police station just a short distance away. Despite this the police had no clue. A story is being fabricated to cover up the matter. Similarly, a large number of villagers gathered condemned the incident and demanded action against the accused.

After the death of the girl in the accident, the family kept waiting for the body till afternoon. As time was passing, the tears of the family members were drying up but their screams were turning into sobs. The anger was not subsiding. Screaming at the spot, the deceased’s aunt Phoolkumari said that our world has been destroyed. There is no one to do justice.

Forensic team took samples on the second day also

On Sunday, the second day of the accident, the police and forensic team reached the spot and took samples from the debris thrown on the road. The incident site has been completely sealed. Police personnel kept stopping people from going inside the ruined house.

Neighbors narrowly escaped, wall and toilet damaged

Ramkumar’s neighbor Ramesh Kumar said that his family was a short distance away at the time of the incident. Otherwise there could have been huge loss of life. The wall adjacent to Ramkumar’s house also got damaged after the explosion. His toilet built next door also collapsed.
