SpiceJet has decided to stop its air service from Gorakhpur for two months from February 1. The airline has suspended flights from Gorakhpur to Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Along with stopping the booking for two months, there is a preparation to remove the employees from here and shift them to Ayodhya by January 31.
It is being told that this decision has been taken in view of the crowd of travelers in Ayodhya. However, after two months, the company has again given time for all three flights in the summer schedule.
According to the information, due to closure of SpiceJet flights, now only Indigo and Alliance Air services will be available from Gorakhpur Airport. Four flights fly daily from Gorakhpur to Delhi, two to Mumbai and one each to Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.
