Ayodhya. In the court of Special Judge POCSO Act I Nirupama Vikram, a couple and another accused were acquitted on Wednesday due to lack of evidence in the case of molestation, abuse, threat to kill and POCSO Act. The 15-year-old daughter of a person living in police station Kumarganj area had gone to the shop to buy goods. On October 1, 2021, at 9 am, Raj, a resident of Qazi Sarai of Bikapur, caught her and took her towards the toilet and molested her. When she went to his house to complain, Kuldeep and his wife Ram Milan threatened to kill her and abused her. A report was registered in police station Kumarganj on the complaint of the father. Seven witnesses appeared in the court from the prosecution side. The judge found the victim to be an adult at the time of the incident in the evidence present in the file. The judge acquitted the accused Raj, Kuldeep and Deepa honorably, acquitting them of all the charges due to contradictory statements of the witnesses and no eyewitness to the incident. Dialogue
