Ayodhya. The government has started a campaign to save the endangered ancient art recipes of Ramnagari. For this, there is a plan to discover and revive ancient arts and cuisines at the district level. For this, a subsidy of Rs 5 lakh will also be given from the government level. After the ancient art and cuisines are exposed, they will also be publicized and the tourists coming to Ayodhya will also be able to come face to face with them.

There is a diversity of arts and cuisines in rural areas, most of which are becoming endangered due to modernity. Along with food, there are many products related to culture and traditions on which the market has become dominant with plastic. Now preparations are underway to revive them afresh. Under the scheme, lost art and cuisine will be discovered and saved.

If any person or group comes up with it, then it will be given a subsidy of up to Rs 5 lakh, subject to the conditions for the business. Before giving the money, permission will be taken from the DM, Tourism and Culture Council at the district level. The list of that cuisine and art will be published at the district and divisional level. It will be publicized in the functions held in the district

Tourism Officer Rajendra Prasad Yadav said that village genres like Khanjadi, native Damru, native Dholak, flute playing will be promoted. Besides, the village dishes Fara, Sahinda, Handi’s red curd are also endangered. These recipes will be publicized and disseminated. These will be brought forward under the government scheme. Through this, the devotees coming to Ayodhya will be introduced to the cuisine, art and culture of Awadh.
