X-ray And Nat Test Should Be Done For Five Percent Patients Arriving In Opd – Ayodhya News

Ayodhya. National Task Force Chairman Dr. Ashok Bhardwaj inspected the DR TB Center of the Medical College and took stock of the arrangements. During this, he advised to get X-ray and NAT test done of five percent of the patients who reached the OPD of all the departments of the Medical College. He also directed to get TB screening done of the patients admitted in the ward.

Before this, he inspected the notification register, lab register and ward of DR TB Center. He held a meeting with the Principal of Medical College Dr. Gyanendra Kumar to strengthen the facilities of the center. Apart from this, he directed to screen the patients of sugar, blood pressure, HIV and tobacco users who do not have symptoms of TB.

District Tuberculosis Officer Dr. Sandeep Shukla said that an active TB search campaign will be run in the district from 9th to 20th September. 209 teams will be deployed in this work. 42 supervisors will monitor this campaign. Dr. SK Verma, Dr. Anjuman Chaudhary, Dr. Anjali of World Health Organization, Dr. Preeti, Dr. Snehanshu Shukla etc. were present for inspection.
